"Termas del Daymán"

The Termas del Dayman is located 10 km from the city of Salto, to 487 from 440 in Montevideo and Buenos Aires. They are the most popular hot spring resort in the region, and were born in 1957 after a failed attempt to find oil on the shores of the homonymous river.

With a set of bungalows, motel, restaurant and heated swimming pools, both private and public water sometimes reaches 45 º C, the highest temperature in thermal waters of Uruguay. The thermal spa water comes from the Guarani aquifer. [1] The waters of Dayman contain iodine, iron, magnesium, calcium and fluoride are negative in its content of arsenic and sulfate-poor, although they serve as a tool to crenoterapia. Acuamanía Aquatic Park is the first thermal level in South America [2].

About 15 km from the Dayman Aquatic Park is Horacio Quiroga, a member of the Salto Grande. Both complexes visited by both regional and European tourists, with the majority of English and German.

Due to its proximity to the provincial capital, its population is primarily a fluid work on the premises but, in general, lies in Salto.

A wide range of bungalows among which is Villa Sort, offer the tourist and quiet green spaces.
